Area 52 to TheraWoW Checklist
Use this as the first-pass setup list for former Area 52 members and new recruits joining The Syndicate on TheraWoW.
1. Create your account and client
- Open the official TheraWoW site and create an account.
- Download the WotLK 3.3.5a client from TheraWoW.
- Set your realmlist to
logon.therawow.com.
2. Post your guild roll call
In Discord, post your Thera character name, faction, role, class/spec, region, available play times, and old Area 52 name. This lets officers match old members to new characters and build event groups quickly.
3. Pick your first job
Choose whether you want to help with dungeon gearing, profession support, raid testing, PvP nights, bot-command guides, or new-player onboarding. The move will go faster if every regular member owns one useful job.
4. Learn the Thera systems
- Review scaling rules before raid tests.
- Learn basic companion bot commands for small groups.
- Watch daily events and weekend XP boosts for alt catch-up.
- Keep Discord voice clear during new mechanics.
5. Send updates back to the site
After events, send notes, screenshots, build corrections, and YouTube IDs. The website can become the public record of the migration and the new guild era.
